Dear Antti, it's great pleasure to listen to your new album "Bridge - Silta. From first seconds I can recognize your style of playing and composing. It's great mix of various elements, such as contemporary piano music, some romantic music elements, ethno-folk and jazz grooves. It all combined together makes your album very exciting. Keep on doing your great things, Antti!
Hello my Dear Friend Antti. I am glad that I have a chance to be in contact with you. You are great artist, very innovative in several fields pertaining music. I love your open minded approach to the music and to the arts at all. Every time when I listen to your music it embarks me on a journey to the magical world of your imagination and lets me to extend my awareness of the sound, silence and relation between them both. Everything is the music!
Thank you Hermann ! I'm sorry I first now looked at your comment ! Yes - we need "strange new sounds" ! The world of conventional classical music is often too limited. It is good if we widen that sonic world. Let's put scores away - at least for a while and two - and let's just listen to the sounds: of birds, of wind, of our hands on the instruments ! John Cage had much to tell us. The common piano is really a compromise. I have tried to widen the sound colors with e.g. continuing 6 - 10 tune accords which I take along the story - e.g. in Poem.
Hi Friend : I'd like to read your comments - any and many kind of ! And many others would too ! Hei Ystävä : Lukisin mielelläni kommenttejasi - monenlaisia ! Ja moni muu myös !
Dear Antti(I heard Antti Sapilar sopr sax) You display considerable creativity, some of your creations I would need to listen many times. I have heard in the 60s in Munich some very modern music and am quite open minded... The more I hear of you ,the more I like it. I heard (also lectures) by Karlheinz Stockhausen. We need strange new sounds, like exotic foods, to widen our horizon. I would love to hear some music in the JUST PURE tuning. Our piano is such a tyrannical compromise, Yet the well tempered tuning facilitated BACH to modulate to other scales with ease. You have 1 more fan now Cheers Hermann (c:
